About
Kym Fitzpatrick recently completed a Fashion Design BA (Hons) at the Carmarthen School of Art. Originally from Australia, she is now based in West Wales. After graduation Kym is planning to establish herself as a freelance fashion designer. She intends to work with other independent designers and also further develop her own design collections.
Many designers have taken inspiration for their collections from the work by iconic artist Andy Warhol. Kymberly's designs aim to delve below the surface and reveal the human behind the Campbell's Soup Can and Marilyn Monroe silkscreen prints. A mixture of experimental fabric treatments and deconstructed patternmaking methods come together to create a unique, avant gard collection.
