Recently awarded with Master in ArtsCeramics from Staffordshire university, the artist explores the future of craft amidst technological and AI advancements, challenging perceptions and constraints. Anny’s research of sustainable ceramic practicesinvolved using Virtual Reality (VR) to sculpt models and manipulate CAD files, and 3D printing in clay to bring them to life. Inspired by nature, organic forms, and Gaudí’s architecture, the artist' workincludes a wide range of project , very often including LED lights.Proud member of Green Grads UK.
In her master project Anny investigates the future of craft in the era of radical change in technology and AI, pushing both her own and other's perceptions and constraints. The installation “Digital Grotto,” comprises over 100 pieces, 3D printed with Parian porcelain, a clay selected for its special qualities and sustainability. The installation includes ‘The monolith’ (reference with ‘Space Odyssey’) as 'stargate’, and a figure gazing upon it, dreaming of a better future and new horizons. The peephole view into a world of light and shadow advocates for a harmonious coexistence with nature, fellow humans, and AI
