Hello, I'm Razan Aassi, a textile designer, specializing in knitting, industrial, manual, all types of embroidery, I completed a degree at Shenkar College in Israel in the department of textile design and received honors in my final project from Delta Galil author
In my final project I designed a series of fashionable knitted clothes in the style of Egyptian clothing inspired by a jewel belonging to my generation in my family. This is a necklace in a wooden box that belongs to my great grandmother of Egyptian origin, I took the technique of the necklace, the colors and textures that appear on the wooden box and translated them into industrial knitting and hand embroidery of beads using different techniques in knitting and ironing to change the final result of the cause by the clothes. My goal was to give renewed life to the chain and the wooden box, and to believe that it is also possible to turn a small object into a wide collection built on deep and strong thinking.
