About
I am an architect educated at the Royal Danish Academy, where I earned my master’s degree at the program "Urbanism and Societal Change."My work and architectural interest explores architecture as more than a practice of building. I consider architecture as a tool for questioning power, exposing hidden structures, and engaging with human rights through architectural counter-investigations. By using spatial analysis and design methods to reveal injustices embedded in the built environment, architecture has the ability to challenge the narratives cities tell about who belongs and who is excluded.
The project proposes an alternative exploration to the conventional care home; one that is not institutional nor isolated but embedded directly into the rythms of daily life. Set in Havnebyen, a Danish Village marked by an aging population and strong local identity, “Finding Home” explores Young Onset Dementia (YOD) care not as a facility but as a spatial and social infrastructure rooted in community. The project aligns itself not only with the UN sustainability goals but also the associated pledge to leave no one behind. We do this by measuring progress from behind and focusing on people with YOD who face the most stigmatization and medical mistreatment.
