About

Hi I’m Carmen, A brand and UX/UI designer with a soft spot for all things cozy. I believe that the best designs are the ones that truly connect with people, like when you share a cup of tea or spend time with loved ones. I approach each project with curiosity, immersing myself in the unique stories and perspectives of others, and bringing empathy and creativity to everything that I do.When I’m not pushing pixels around on a screen, you can find me hanging out with my pet turtle Leah, crocheting an army of frogs to give out to friends, or learning new songs on the guitar and piano (Taylor Swift, Gracie Abrams and Griff are my favs). I also love scrapbooking, filling notebooks with stickers and memories, and finding ways to capture the little moments. Whether you’re looking for a designer for your next project or a new crochet frog friend, let’s connect!

Glucopal is a health app designed for young adults with diabetes who are transitioning to independent health management. Recognizing the difficulties with new diagnosis, the design prioritizes accessibility, ensuring an intuitive and user-friendly experience. The objective is to empower users to confidently manage their health and well-being. To achieve this, the app features medication and appointment reminders, as well as health activity tracking, all crafted to support users in taking control of their health with ease and confidence.
