I am currently taking the sculpture class at West Valley college. I like to explore different art techniques and expressions.
This piece is constructed from sheet metal, combining aluminum, brass, and bronze to represent Sky, Human Being, and Earth respectively. Each material is shaped into a lotus petal, symbolizing the interconnected growth of these three realms. The petals bloom above a Yin-Yang diagram, reinforcing the idea of balance and duality. Together, the composition expresses harmony, stability, and the unity between nature and humanity.
