I am Blanca Pajares graduated in Product Design at IED Madrid University.
I see design in a rational and pragmatic way, trying with it to solve a problem in the simplest and most
functional way possible. I also pay particular attention to the formal aspect.
I approach each project as if it were the only one, showing in each project the complex, but possible,
relationship between aesthetics and functionality. Each of my projects emphasizes detail and care, betting
on a well done work in which simplicity and simplification are the starting point.
HAUSKIT In a world of constant movement and change, where people are increasingly relocating due to studies or work, a problem arises related to excessive consumption and waste generation. The current liquid society demands flexible solutions that adapt to their needs and lifestyle. It is in this context that Hauskit emerges as an innovative and sustainable alternative. Its goal is to address the challenges of overconsumption and waste by promoting the circular economy and servitization. Through the rental of second-hand furniture, the platform supports the furniture's lifecycle, avoiding premature disposal and reducing waste generation. Each piece has been carefully selected and refurbished to ensure the best quality, undergoing a rigorous care process. But Hauskit's proposal goes beyond that. This not only simplifies coexistence but also contributes to efficient resource utilization and better management of individual budgets. In summary, Hauskit represents a comprehensive response to the current challenges of our liquid society.
