Indian Market - Realtime Environment in Unreal Engine 5

This project presents a detailed 3D environment inspired by the vibrant atmosphere of an Indian street market, created in Unreal Engine 5. The scene showcases a full production pipeline — from concept and reference gathering to modular modeling, texturing, and final rendering. Key features: • Modular architecture — buildings and props built from reusable elements for flexibility and scalability. • Custom PBR materials & vertex painting — hand-crafted materials and vertex blending to add realism and variety. • Dynamic elements & VFX — animated pigeons with AI behavior, flying papers, cloth simulations, and dust particles enhance the sense of a living space. • Blueprint tools — custom splines for cables, flags, and festival decorations; interactive Blueprints for environmental elements like air conditioners. • Optimization — efficient scene management for performance without compromising artistic quality. The project was designed as a diploma work for the Academy of Art in Szczecin and reflects an integrated approach to creating immersive, interactive real-time environments.
