About
I am a textiles designer passionate about digital arts and the realm of dreams and the subconscious. My Final Major project, 'Inquisition into the subconscious', blends digital manipulation, CAD, animation and traditional techniques to create immersive, surreal dreamscapes. My previous projects, such as 'Synthetic Eden' and my work with Liberty, investigate the AI's role in design, a theme that earned me the 2024 Sainsbury's Innovation award for Habitat Interiors. I am fascinated by developing technologies and how they can be explored in the design world to push the boundaries of design. With experience in print, fashion and interiors - including a placement at Next Boys-wear, I aim to craft transformative and introspective designs that merge digital and physical worlds, offering new ways to experience creativity and encourage new forms of escapism through my design work.
inquisition into the subconscious
'Inquisition into the subconscious' is an immersive textiles collection that delves into the world of dreams, surrealism and the inner workings of the human psyche. Inspired by vivid dream imagery and personal narratives, it combines layered digital and physical techniques to create ethereal aesthetics and otherworldly designs. The collection transitions from an exploration of dreamscapes, to a personal exploration of my own dreams, made into visual narratives through the use of AI. Presented as an immersive installation, this project invites viewers to journey through a surreal landscape that questions the boundaries between fantasy and reality, provoking introspection and providing escape from reality.
