About
Isabel is studying in her last year at the School of the Art Institute in the Fashion Department. Her work is sculptural, aiming to deviate from conventional modes of dress. Gender tropes are subverted through materiality and silhouette empowering women with a twisted elegnace.
Nothing excites me more than to be on the precipice of epiphany, finding what rests in the crevices of the city I know so well. Only when I engage presently in the act of seeing, can I feel the currents of the darkest corner and the brightest refractions. This is an ode to the simplicity in watching daily life unfold.
