About

I am a Colombian textile designer with a background in product design. Having lived in five countries and eight cities, I have developed adaptability to new environments, strengthened my communication skills to overcome cultural and language barriers, and cultivated a multicultural approach to design.I have a deep love and passion for craftsmanship, material research, storytelling, and meaningful design. A lifelong commitment to exploring different crafts—from drawing and painting, to ceramics knitting, weaving, and jewelry making. And I've built a design philosophy that honors both tradition and innovation. Space, territory, and architecture are always central to my work. I aim to create environments and fashion that reflect untold narratives and evoke deep emotional significance. I hold a Master’s in Fabric Innovation Design from Accademia Costume & Moda in Rome, and I have experience with sustainability practices and collaborating with skilled artisans, such as working with Colombian craftswomen and learning from Mexican designer Fernando Laposse. Currently I’m doing an internship at Louis Vuitton Paris, working as an Assistant Designer for Textile Accesories, specifically woven textiles. Now based in France, I am eager to bring my multicultural perspective, passion for storytelling, and expertise in textiles and craftsmanship to new opportunities within the high-end interior design and fashion industries.

La Casa vestita: dei paesaggi della memoria

La Casa Vestita: dei Paesaggi della Memoria is a textile collection of twenty design proposals created to inhabit the home throughout the year. From cotton and wool jacquards to digitally printed cashmeres and silks, the collection showcases a variety of textile techniques that enrich the space not only through color and sight, but also through texture and touch. It draws inspiration from my personal journey across different countries, cities, and cultures, and portrays a deeply emotional vision of the landscapes that surrounded me. Like that journey, the collection is filled with possibility: it consists of four families, each paired with a season (Invierno–Bogotá, Primavera–Ciudad de México, Summer–Port of Spain, and Autunno–Roma), is expressed in three languages (English, Spanish, and Italian), explores three creative realms (fashion, interior, and accessories), and features an evolving, vibrant color palette.
