About

I’m a designer with a distinct creative direction, with a focus on classic silhouttes blending with modern, thoughtful material all while creating a clear visual narative. My work blends clean and careful lines with playful and rich textures, drawing from historical and cultural referenc- es to create sophistacted, yet sexy designs. I am passionate about creating designs that feel personal and wearable. My experience stretches from concept development to garment manufacure, with proficientskills, in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. During my placment year, interning at Molly Goddard and Bless Eine GmBh, the industry skills learnt were invaluable and shaped me into a flexible, re- liable and committed designer eager to produce to industry standards within a fast-paced creative team.

mischievous concealment

This collection embarks on an exploration of the delicate balance between being seen and hiding. Taking direct influence from traditional camouflage techniques, morphing them into femi- nine, classic silhouettes with a hint of playfulness by creating a feathered texture, made from scrap fabric found around the stu- dio and from the garments cut from this collection. Gracefully trying to explore the themes of camouflage and redefining the contemporary exploration of the theme. Striping it back, this collection pushes the pre-existing defini- tion of camouflage, taking a cosmopolitan spin on the theme. Blending historical photography with traditional camo textures creating a focus on bias-cut flowy dresses with structured, stiff jackets, with collars that can be twisted and pulled dramatically over the face, to hide the wearer in their cosmopolitan environ- ment. Capturing one’s essence of desire and shame and expertly blending the two.
