The MOM project unfolds as the graphical and conceptual scenario of a personal inner journey, dreamlike images stemming from the exploration of the positive and negative aspects of individual existence, culminating in a metamorphosis. The metamorphosis unfolds through the alchemical" from crame process, an ancient practice referring to the transmutation of metals, projected in the pursuit of the elixir of long life. Alchemists believed that through the execution of certain rituals and the understanding of the mysterious principles of nature, it was possible to transform matter into nobler forms. The different states of matter, involved in the alchemical process are distinguished into various phases, including the plasmatic phase, where the fundamental elements of matter are completely decomposed and recombined to create something new and profoundly transformative. Alchemists argued that the transmutation process of metals also reflected the internal transformation tros came process of human beings, leading to the purification and enlightenment of the soul, bringing forth old thought patterns, beliefs, and identities, breaking them down and transmuting them into new forms of understanding. In this way, alchemical creation leads to the birth of a new reality, a new understanding of self and the surrounding world. The design work is divided into two phases of inner metamorphosis, where a material transmutation process establishes an identity transformation. The project structure, however, will guide the narrative through the psychology of the alchemist himself, who will explore the sociological approach through a short film, reflecting the psychic regression that will influence the process. The topic discussed will be recontextualized through the study of metagenealogy, psychomagic, and the sociological effects that act on family units.
