About

I am a Danish/French Textile Designer who is specialised in knitwear and works particularity with textiles for fashion and sustainable design. My curiosity often leads me to experiment with other textile techniques as well, such as laser cutting. I enjoy working with colour, materials and form and have an experimental approach to the design process. Sustainability is at the very heart of my design process, where I like to use sustainable strategies as creative constrains to my work. I believe that sustainable development is also the designer's responsibility and through my design practice and projects, I want to contribute to a better textile industry.

Morphogenesis in Motion explores how textile design can drive sustainable fashion by reimagining garments as living, adaptable systems. Drawing inspiration from cellular behavior, specifically how cells grow, divide, and interconnect, the project translates these biological principles into modular textiles using knitting and laser-cutting techniques. By challenging traditional garment construction, the design methodology places fabric structure at the core, allowing the textiles, combined with drawstrings, to define form and function. Extensive prototyping resulted in modular garments composed of interconnected pieces, each designed to interlace via drawstrings. This modular system invites wearers to actively reshape, personalize, and creatively interact with their garments, fostering emotional attachment and longevity. Balancing tactile craftsmanship and digital precision, the collection creates a dynamic dialogue between material, form, and the body. The garments evolve through user engagement, challenging static notions of clothing consumption. This approach embodies circular fashion principles, advocating for garments that are versatile, resilient, and emotionally durable - inviting thoughtful reflection on how we wear, value, and sustainably interact with our clothing.
