About

HI, I'M NETAi grew up in a small village surrounded by landscape and nature alongside workshops. From a young age I was inspired my grandmother and her sewing techniques, I aspired to be a fashion designer. My design process usually starts with choosing a color palette and textile selection. Most of my designs will be full of play from prints and texture.I like to to give the spotlight for all the small details, mix ready made givingthe wearer the choice of modular wear with attention to the body movement.I believe in maximalism - “more is more”

MY LITTLE MONSTER

"MY LITTLE MONSTER" \ Neta Shalom When I was a 7-year-old, I witnessed the murder of my mother, and since then, I had to cope with loss and post-trauma throughout my life. As a child, the best therapy for me was throughout art. In one of my therapy sessions, the therapist said: "At the beginning or end of each session, Neta take a syringe in the room and inject herself an 'energy shot'". My collection speaks about dealing with post-trauma, by a naive and optimistic children's perspective on difficult and painful subjects. "When scary things are presented in an appropriate context, scary things are good because they help children conquer their fears." - Niki de Saint Phalle. The items are made from a variety of materials and creative techniques I used as a child: denim, leather, towels, cotton, evening fabrics, embroidery, knitting, tufting, bead's weaving, digital prints of prints taken from my inspiration world, and children's drawings. The collection is designed for women, and the style of the collection is characterized by "playful" ready-to-wear garments that push boundaries with a connection to street fashion.
