About
Contemporary author who bases his narrative on memory and the multiple nuances of the human condition. His research ends in the creation of visual diaries in which people and places intertwine with his emotional memory, attempting to decode the incommunicability that is often felt in human relationships. His investigation and visual research have the ultimate goal of being able to become a stimulus for reflection and self-analysis, move something visceral, share questions. His work is a translation into narration of the "unsaid", an oscillation between extremes of black and white, high and low, extremes of light that represent fixed points that find a gaze and give shape to a new fluid memory, in becoming linked to a distant past.
This editorial project revolves around the concept of incommunicability and how our emotional memory can influence our gaze. It's a slow, indecisive and at times confused story, it is a look made up of two points of view. My mother's, a deaf woman, and my father's, a man who doesn't speak. I asked myself: - how does our memory act when do we remember someone we loved? - so I decided to entrust them with it making the images in this project. Their unconscious dialogue becomes my archive to curate and compose their shots I created a memoir, an intimate diary.
