Mata Durikovic is LVMH green trail award nominee, multiple awards winner and Swarovski Foundation scholar, fashion design womenswear graduate from Central Saint Martins with various experiences and demonstrated history of working in textile design and womenswear luxury industry. Skilled in research, knitwear, crochet, embroidery, pattern cutting, print design and all Adobe programs. In personal work focused on sustainable luxury fashion within MADbyMAD bioluxury brand, with motto: « be MAD! be Bioluxury! « where using bioplastic as leather replacement « bioplastic crystal leather » and within 3D embroidery, all in combination with recycled Swarovski crystal waste and zero waste techniques such as knitwear and crochet.
PINK MATRIX collection having motto: “Be MAD, be Bioluxury!” wants to counter the value of haute couture luxury fashion, by using “Bioplastic crystal leather”, the biomaterial, invented by the designer Mata Durikovic, used in different forms such as substitute for solid fabrics, embroidery, crochet yarns and in use with UV print.
