Jonathan Kuhlmann completed a Master's degree in Integrated Design and Mobility Design at the Offenbach University of Art and Design (HfG). Previously, he studied at Münster University of Applied Sciences, earning his Bachelor's degree in 2022 with a thesis on materials and circular design. In his work, he combines design precision with a systemic perspective. He believes that designs never arise in isolation, but always in dialogue with their social, material and ecological context. He seeks solutions that fit naturally into existing structures while opening up new perspectives on everyday practices. He gained professional experience working for agencies in Münster and Cologne, as well as freelancing on projects of various sizes. He was also involved in the radraum e.V. association, supporting sustainable cycling culture, mobility and urban society. In his projects, he demonstrates the belief that design is not just about form, but also a tool for shaping the future.
