This project emerges from an in-depth research into the origins of Fauvism, the first avant-garde movement of the 20th century, and its profound connection to African tribal art. The symbolic strength, raw spirituality, and vibrant expressiveness of this heritage inspired not only the Fauvist painters but also the conceptual framework of the collection. From this foundation, I developed a trend creation process that shaped the visual language and aesthetic direction of the pieces, merging ancestral rituality with contemporary haute couture. The project also involved a strong component of creative direction and artistic audiovisual production, conceived to extend the collection beyond clothing into a multi-sensory narrative. Each garment was crafted using artisanal techniques such as controlled bleaching, foil application, and hand-painting on fabric, resulting in unique textures and symbolic objects. Ultimately, it is a fusion of research, textile experimentation, and artistic vision into a powerful ritual statement .
