About
I’m an illustrator and image-maker from India. Influenced by my childhood adventures in the forests of South India, my work explores the complex relationships between humans and nature; a narrative of environmental awareness, ecological systems, and the need for coexistence. My journey has led me to a creative practice grounded in translating research into imagery through the spirit of experimentation and play. I have blended analogue and digital techniques to create emotionally resonant visuals that reflect a deep curiosity about the world and our place within it.
In my journey of experimentation and play, I embraced the process of print-making; specifically engaging with dry-point etching, screen-printing and mark-making. These are a selection of prints created to explore visual imagery, celebrating whales as majestic creatures, and highlighting the ecological threat of entanglement in fishing gear.
