Being a passionate and honest designer, I am dedicated to embracing a forward-thinking and empathetic design practice. RE-Materia DIY Kit empowers individuals to create biodegradable bioplastic packaging from household fruit and vegetable peel waste while encouraging a shift in mindset towards sustainability and circularity. The kit provides bottles with essential ingredients and a manual. The latter guides the user through the world of biomaterials, proposes two recipes for DIY bioplastics, and provides sewing patterns for stitching packaging from the self-made materials. With the help of RE-Materia DIY Kit, you can breathe new life into seemingly useless scraps, turning them into valuable resource.
