About

I'm Jahnvi Deshlahra, a fashion design student at the University of Central Lancashire with a background in personal styling and image consultancy from Pearl Academy, Bangalore. My creative journey began with a handmade décor and gifts business, where I developed a passion for storytelling through craftsmanship. Since then, I’ve worked as a freelance stylist and shopper, collaborating with clients globally and assisting on editorial shoots. My design approach blends traditional Indian art and textiles with contemporary silhouettes, often drawing inspiration from Rajasthani architecture, blue pottery, and Pichwai painting. I'm especially interested in sustainable fashion, tactile textiles, and translating cultural heritage into modern design narratives. Currently, I’m looking for internships and opportunities to grow as a designer, contribute fresh ideas, and learn from experienced industry professionals.

In a world shaped by societal pressures and rigid timelines, this project invites you to find peace within life’s ever-shifting rhythms. It’s a celebration of fluidity—of embracing the amorphous beauty that surrounds us and exists within. Rather than surrendering, it encourages us to move in harmony with life’s unpredictable dance. This narrative is about honouring your individuality—cherishing the unique contours of your journey and letting authenticity guide you. It’s a call to awaken the energy within, to break free from constraints, and to find power in softness. Through sculptural forms and organic textures, this project encourages you to caress life’s blob-like entities and carve out a shape that is entirely your own.
