Fashion Designer from Valdosta, Georgia.Owner of Calm Down Clothing.I specialize in streetwear, I work best in denim and knits. Calm Down Clothing offers 1of1 pieces made in beautiful patchwork, and filled with embroidery of my own original art. With my B.F.A in Fashion Design from SCAD, I have successfully bonded together high fashion and streetwear. Years of combining my knowledge of clothes through trial and error with my professional training on fashion has made clothes second nature for me. I can piece together patterns with no block or drafting paper.My love of drawing is always expressed in my clothes. I believe streetwear, should be reminiscent of the streets. The streets are a complex and beautiful thing. They can be rough, busy and even inspiring. I try to portray this theme in both my drawings and clothes.
Senior Collection: "I Feel most free breaking the rules"
My senior collection at SCAD Atlanta. This collection is an extension of my clothing brand, Calm Down. It ties on the dynamic of good and evil in the sense of fashion. The designs are inspired by "rougher" groups of people like bikers, street gangs, punks, etc. These people often get a bad rep, but they are usually decent people. The clothes are streetwear with a grunge feel. The exteriors of the clothes are distressed and filled with graphic art to catch your eye; while the interior is fully lined and finely tailored.
