About
Having graduated from Kingston University in 2025 with a First Class Degree in BA Fashion, I am now seeking the opportunity to put my skills into practice in a vibrant and creative work environment. I have a broad range of skills spanning from garment design to pattern cutting and sewing, and also have experience with designing knitwear and using Dubied knit machines. These skills have developed through my academic studies, earlier retail experience and a placement year in Berlin, including working at an atelier.
This collection is born from a deep appreciation for both the artistry of fashion and the practicality of design. Initial inspiration was taken from photographic research of sailors and fishermen, focusing on the functional design of their uniforms and outerwear. Considering layering and drape, the silhouettes balance and exaggerate shape and proportion. The colour palette is a vibrant yet comforting nod to my research imagery, used in monochromatic looks to elevate the garments and create a cohesive and immersive aesthetic. Designed for the modern woman who values both form and function, the collection features thoughtfully considered details and is crafted from luxurious materials that feel as good as they look. This work is a tribute to the beautiful seaside and its people, reimagined through a contemporary perspective of what a garment should offer.
