Hello, My name is Koko. I am a multi-disciplinary designer based in Sydney, Australia. I have completed a Bachelors degree in Industrial Design with Honours, at Massey University.I currently work as a graphic designer and marketing co-ordinator at Kilimanjaro Consulting.Get in touch if you have a job opportunity, a project you want to collaborate on, or simply want to connect - I am always interested in meeting new people :)
Our internal body clock is synchronised to the rising and setting of the sun, making light one of the most important cues in our environment. However, not everyone’s daily routines correlate with the rising and setting of the sun. Sol aims to cue user behaviour and introducing a subtle sense of time, through an individually customised light cycle. Heavily inspired by Japanese minimalism’s use of natural material, colour, line work, and soft light. Sol aims to bring these biophilic principles into the home of the user, to help reconnect them with nature’s restorative elements and processes.
