About
Aspiring student currently studying Fashion Design BA Hons at University of Central Lancashire and working alongside as a Sales Assistant/Visual Merchandiser at New Look. Throughout my UCLan journey I have received a mixture of 1st and 2.1s in the various modules I have completed. I thoroughly enjoy aspects of the design process such as design development, garment construction and trend research.
During my first year at university, I had to research fashion within Africa and create an A-line dress inline with my research. After completing the make of the dress, I worked back into the dress using different mediums I had researched throughout the module. I created my own fabric yarn, crocheted them into circles and attached them onto the dress and as a sleeve piece. I also dyed parts of the A-line and then machine embroidered circles into the dyed parts.
