About
I am currently a third year Fashion Design student at the University of Central Lancashire, doing a placement year in London. I am interested in pattern cutting and tailoring, and I enjoy hand embellishment techniques like embroidery and beading.
The brief for this project was to make a fitted blazer to our measurements, inspired by a fashion house and our hobbies and interests. I chose clothsurgeon as my fashion house and themed my project around sewing, particularly how sewing skills are passed down through families.
