About
I was born in 1998 and have been passionate about art since childhood, especially comic books and their incredible illustrations. I was often seen with a pad and pencil. At 16, I landed my first illustration job for the book "Dangerous Skies" by Brian James. Since then, I have continuously developed my style and skills.In December 2023, I had my first exhibition with "7 Clapham Creatives," marking a significant achievement in my career. I'm pursuing an undergraduate degree in Graphic Design at The University of Westminster, expected to be completed in 2025, alongside 14 years of experience in the service industry, starting at age 13. As new opportunities arise, I'm excited about the creative path ahead.
The Death of Series is a collection of 4 books centred on creating an environment where four letters decay and die. I used a bank of 90 homemade textures to make this system and researched the oldest alphabets that still have shape-based parallels with our current alphabet. If a letter is going to die, it should be the oldest to go first. I used physical manipulation and various overlaying layer types to blend these textures with my chosen letter forms (A, O, W and Z) to create as organic a process as possible. The goal was to make people think about words and letters as more critical than they currently are. If words died like we do, we might treat the things we say as more precious.
