Arts Thread

Currently a third year placement student studying Fashion design, recently achieving a 1st in my last academic year. My current placement with the Enterprise team at Sheffield Hallam, involves the setting up of my own business within up-cycled fashion. As an adaptive team player, I have a variety of volunteer work from previous travel in places such as, Italy, Austria, Croatia and Albania. Most of this work included skill development in: painting and decorating, promoting, reception work, admin and hospitality. With a goal to work within the sustainable fashion industry, my involvement with environmental campaigns from an early age, and experience in the industry through my course, I am striving to reach this after my placement and graduation. I am an enthusiastic engaged student, being a course representative in my first year. After studying tailoring and researching the simultaneous violence and utopias in the world, I designed a lineup for Macintosh with the target audience and market in mind. These projects have enabled me to grow as a person, developing a vast range of knowledge around the fashion industry and its environmental impact.
