Arda Paris Akay graduated with laude in Textile & Fashion Design at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University.In 2018, Paris became one of the top ten finalists in the Koza young fashion designers competition. In 2019, Paris Akay presented his spring-summer collection in Mercedes-Benz Istanbul fashion week.Paris, worked as a design intern at Zorlu Tex, Ayaydin&Miroglio Group and Nedret Taciroglu.Paris Akay is currently continuing his Textile & Fashion Design master degree at Naba, Nouva Accademia di belle arti.
The most diva moment of all time
The collection name is “THE MOST DIVA MOMENT OF ALL TIME” Orginally, to be Diva meant to be a female opera singer, and it’s etymology comes from a Latin word literally meaning “goddess.” Hard working and a salt of the earth upbringing don’t preclude women from being divas. For example you can build your empire from no- where and end up with a theme park named af- ter you, or you can be a working-c- lass jewish girl from the Bronx and become one of the best-selling recording artists of all time. But if you are a diva, those humble origins are quickly forgotten. Reclaiming the word “diva” might prove tricky, given that so many take it as shorthand for a bratty from a bitchiness. People may underestimate them. Divas create their own fake and plastic worlds de- spite all the negativities they experience. This collection represents the irony of a woman’s career before and after.
