Decoding Gerhard Richter’s painting methods into vertical squeegee techniques adapted for textiles, reimagining his process within a fashion context. By translating Richter’s chemistry of intuition and chance into fabric painting and exploring how unconscious gestures and controlled, process-driven techniques can blend in material form. The project investigates squeegee angle, pressure, layers and disruptors creating unique textile surfaces that blend painterly abstraction with textile design. Each piece becomes both intentional and unpredictable, producing bespoke prints for garments, creating wearable abstract expressive artwork.
