About

I am Patrizia, I am a recent Fashion Design graduate, driven by a strong desire to learn and improve. To me Fashion is the best way to embody a social and cultural meaning. Art and Fashion convey values, emotions and meanings.Observing daily life, I love to experiment through research into shapes and volumes to design changeable garments that can be worn in different ways. The person who wears them should feel free to interpret the dress and the brand in a personal, unique way. Conceptual, experimentation, openness, changeable as a fluid: this is what my collections represent.

the Unborn: gestational Modernity

‘The Unborn: Gestational Modernity’ is rooted in a reflection on contemporary society, inspired by Z. Bauman’s concept of Liquid Modernity. But, in a world marked by uncertainty and constant transformation, the fluid is perceived not as a loss of values but as a fertile environment: an amniotic fluid from which new forms, identities, and values can be born. As a result, the fabrics are manipulated to achieve a more fluid appearance, through draping or unraveling them. The collection embodies this transitional phase: a gestational modernity where everything changes and is going to be defined. So the garments are wearable in different ways, letting anyone to find their own style, through the use of zippers and cords. The garments includes Lineapelle deadstocks and the upcycling use of textile scraps. Visual inspirations range from pictures of exhibitions, contemporary art and vases to the moulting of the snake as a symbol of rebirth.
