Aurelia is a Singaporean fashion design graduate with a passion for tactile techniques like crochet and embroidery. Being a fashion design major, she translates her love for craft into wearable, whimsical garments that are focused on communicating the human touch that goes into garment-making. Throughout her studies, Aurelia has been featured by Vogue Singapore and Harper's Bazaar Singapore, and has had her work exhibited at prestigious events like the Earthshot Prize and Singapore Design Week. She is a Singapore Fashion Council Scholar and is committed to making her mark on the local fashion scene.
Created for Prize GiuliaCarla Cecchi (Tenth Edition), "Through The Glass" celebrates the coexistence of humanity and nature. Just like how stained glass reaches its full potential only when the sun shines through it, humans need mother nature to reach our full potential. Freehand crocheted panels in metallic yarn, which took over 100 hours to make. Awarded First Runner-up of the competition, featured in Italian news outlets La Nazione
