Avis Ann is a designer and a researcher who builds narrative systems that make space for memory, complexity, and emotional insight.With a background in advertising, she explores how media and design can move beyond aesthetics, to become a structure for relational awareness and cultural change.Her practice bridges intuitive storytelling with analytical structure, drawing from research, media, and systems thinking to craft meaningful experiences.She works across:- Art Direction (digital & spatial formats)- Motion & Video Design (storytelling, interaction, UX)- Creative Strategy & Concepting (sociological insight to a form)- UI Design (narrative-centered, emotionally aware interfaces)Her work is rooted in the belief that design is not just how things look, but how we feel, relate, and make sense of the world together.
Tune is an interactive journalism game experience that uncovers the overlooked deaths of animals in war. Grounded in deep investigative research—including field interviews, legal archives, and witness accounts—it reframes conflict through a non-human lens. Every aspect of its creative direction, from the radio tuning mechanic to the interface and sound design, is carefully crafted to reflect the ethics of listening. Rather than delivering a linear story, Tune invites players to actively interpret and uncover meaning, offering a system-driven space to confront the hidden toll of war and rethink about the meaning of coexistence.
