About

As a recent Interior Design graduate with a first-class BA degree from Middlesex University, I am passionate about creating impactful and sustainable spaces for retail, hospitality, and commercial clients. I have honed my skills in 3D design, visual merchandising, and space planning through various projects and internships, including a design internship at YourStudio, a strategy and experience design agency. At YourStudio, I worked with a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative and user-centric design solutions for a range of clients, such as a luxury hotel chain, a high-end fashion brand, and a co-working space provider. I contributed to the research, ideation, prototyping, and presentation stages of the design process, using tools such as SketchUp, Photoshop, Cinema 4D, Vectoworks/Autocad and InDesign. I also received positive feedback for my creativity, work ethic, and attention to detail. Additionally, I was longlisted for two Interior Educators Awards for my final year projects on social justice and climate emergency, demonstrating my commitment to addressing contemporary design challenges.

BRIEF: Convert the Waterloo Fire Station (Waterloo Rd, London SE1 8SB) into the B.S.L.Community Headquarters where all employees are fluent in BSL and Braille. The purpose of this space is to facilitate the social experience of those affected by loss of senses: deaf, hard hearing, or use BSL to communicate/ Aphesia disorder (being comfortable interacting with other people). SCHEME: Situated on the three lower floors of the Fire Station in Waterloo, the scheme uses soundproofed and sustainable materials to help block all the vibrations from the outside (traffic, houses) that could be painful for those that use hearing aids (10/20% deaf). Different spaces are connected by floating/ detailed walnut and gold steel panels, creating a homely/ safe design.
