I'm currently a final year student studying Fashion Design and Marketing BA(hons) at Northumbria University
With Love is a conceptual collection by Darling, compiled from pre-loved bridal garments. Darling, the brand, is a contemporary clothing company that specialises in upcycled techniques to create unique pieces for the femme of society. The story of this collection follows the mantra “What would dolly do?” with inspiration from Western details, Las Vegas and the ‘runaway bride’. In fitting with the brand's ethos, Darling approaches the bridal aspect of the collection in a non-traditional way by exploring gender, shapes, and silhouettes throughout to utilise fabric sources and create exciting pieces.
