Textile and surface designer
For my final major project, I have responded to the title ‘inside out’, a theme initially inspired by Fauvism but then later predominantly influenced by the Bauhaus. Colour and shape are at the core of my project and were explored via collage and mark making. My intention was to keep my use of colour fresh and crisp in order for it to sit effortlessly within a luxury home. I used hand and digital print techniques on hard and soft surfaces in conjunction with Jacquard weaving to create coherent collection on a variety of natural materials.
