I'm Andrew Longo--A multi-medium industrial and graphic designer. I'm a recent graduate of the MFA Industrial Design program at Parsons School of Design. My strengths lie in product development, visual communication, and physical construction techniques. I'm particularly interested in how forming robust relationships with our belongings can impact the state of consumer culture.

The Lounge Chair (and How to Fix, Modify, and Keep It Forever) fosters an emotional connection through continued experience, maintenance, and repair–ideally it will become unthinkable that you would ever want to throw it away. It lives alongside a manual detailing how to reweave and refinish the chair. The final chair considers how objects are meant to exist and live in the world. Through continued care and stewardship, we can allow our belongings to exist in a more meaningful way.
