The Green Edge project explores the potential of creating a new sustainable material for furniture production. By combining grass clippings from ecologically valuable roadside areas with wood waste from CNC milling, it develops a bio-based resource that both reduces waste and makes use of overlooked natural materials. The outcome is a piece of furniture that highlights the origin of the material and tells a story of circularity, innovation, and sustainable design. The project demonstrates how local resources can be transformed into the furniture of tomorrow, emphasizing the need to rethink both material choices and production methods.
