About
I am a Fine Art student studying at Loughborough University. I enjoy working with textiles, print and paint, especially combining the three to create mixed media works, 3D models and narrative visuals.
Looking into the all-consuming nature of hunger, in this project I investigated how it can expose buried animalistic traits from withing people, and how feelings like hunger can make us more like animals than we realise, and less human than we think.
This project looked overlooked feelings and emotions explored through the imagery of insects. Enlarging creatures which are normally small helped bring attention to them and emphasised how often they are dismissed.
