I am a 21 year old Animation & Illustration Cambridge School of Art graduate from the UK looking for work in the animation & illustration industry. I am especially passionate about storytelling through creative and unique ways.
The Fisherman is a story set in the aftermath of the Meiji Restoration in Japan. It follows Takao, a former samurai who has abandoned his sword and taken up life as a humble fisherman. However, he remains haunted by the violence of his past. The film contrasts the calm of the present with unsettling glimpses of who Takao once was, slowly revealing the weight of his past.
