About

I am an aspiring fashion designer who specializes in extended size streetwear with a punk edge. It is very often difficult to find plus-sized garments that allow women to express themselves in a gritty style and my goal is to create pieces that help bridge that gap. My final collection is dedicated to showcasing that grunge fashion can be created for all sizes. My main inspiration when designing collections is music. Music has always played a very integral role in my life and has always been very close to my heart. I think of music as an art form the way illustration is, and just as a musical artist pours their heart and soul into their lyrics and melodies, I also achieve this in my illustrations and garment construction. I often pull ideas from the moody, relatable lyrics from the alternative, hard rock, and metal music I frequently listen to. My goal has always been to translate the feelings I have when listening to my favourite songs and turn them into wearable garments for plus-sized women that want to express themselves in a way that strays from the norm.
