About

Originally from Manchester, I am a fashion creative working in photographer and design, with a keen interest in dance and music! Currently based in London, I am working as a product photographer and creative marketer within the luxury fashion industry. I have undertaken placements in London and the South of France as a fashion design intern, gaining further insight to the industry and to pinpoint how I want to contribute to the industry. Sustainability and creativity have always been a priority - pushing towards staple wardrobe pieces that can be re worn and restyled across high-end streetwear looks. I have explored photography with other creative individuals looking to collaborate, from fashion photography to dance & movement shots - focusing in on editorial shoots where I can really portray the intention of the project and a sense of personality. Through my internship positions and experience I have developed a number of skills which have prepared me well to jump into each every part of the design process from pattern drafting and client alterations for the perfect fit, to styling and dressing at seasonal shoots. Having had the opportunity to stay with family in France for my experience as a design assistant, I look forward to any further international opportunities that may come my way.

Recent work for Nikki Bradford - Exploring creative shoots within women's wear for social media and e-commerce sites. For these looks I was able to go through one of a kind luxury products and put together a composition that I felt best described the company. Beyond styling, I have continued my growing skills in Adobe software's to experiment with different aesthetics and looks for more seasonal feels. Styled, shot and edited by Christina Ford

Photographing LSCD graduate Georgia Collier of Emergence dance company - exploring the boundaries and capabilities of her movement in the bliss of an empty studio. They say three is a crowd, so I wanted to capture the eternal company of one with our own selves - shooting Georgia from the perspective of an invisible observer so she could improvise and bask in her own personal connection with her surroundings. Catching Georgia when she was so disconnected from peering eyes gave this project the 'Marilyn moment' I didn't know I was looking for...

As part of the Brussels photo festival, 'Music Man' featured at the Tiny Gallery alongside other works of professional and amateur photographers. The intention of this project was to highlight the brief period of ignorance and bliss as you hum along to your headphones. In an otherwise overwhelming and, at times, cruel world it is incredibly important to find an outlet, or escape where you can detach and forget about the 9-5 workday ahead of you. Featuring Bryn Ford music, I wanted to turn this idea into a surreal reality.

The shuffle collection in it's final form - working alongside musician Bryn Ford and a team of dancers from emergence dance company, I have directed and shot the final 7 looks from my collection. It was essential to maintain the musical element through my styling choices and I have also put together short reels across my social media depicting the active relaxation through music and movement.

GRAD COLLECTION 2024. A streetwear collection with both men's wear and women's wear, encapsulating the thoughts, feelings & rhythm of my Spotify playlist. Having curated playlists for every mood since I was a teenager, I wanted to create a collection that held a sense of each inspirational artist in both their music and fashion. I hope everyone is able to catch a glimpse of their own music identity across these looks, but on a more personal note this collection has also taken great inspiration from my dad - Bryn Ford music. Market wise, I was drawn to high-end street wear, and the timeless energy denim brings to styling explorations. However, with sustainability being a constant worry across my generation I wanted to ensure all of the denim elements have been reworked from well loved pieces that needed a second life. Through heavy denim & textural explorations I have transformed tired fabrics into brand new garments.
