About
i like to think of myself as a non-functional craftsman whose works are deeply rooted in the natural world, infusing stoneware pieces with a blend of my own emotions. my main practice is crafting larger compositions by combining smaller modular components, fostering dynamic and intricate pieces. employing hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques, i create forms that are rich in texture and detail, often embracing the unpredictable beauty that emerges during the firing process. i would like to invite the viewers to connect with my ceramic works and reflect on the feelings i have put into every sculpture or environment installation.
EXO: wearable exoskeletons as defence mechanisms
Through wearable ceramics, the graduation collection "EXO" seeks to create harmony between the wearer and the world around them, providing both a profound aesthetic and emotional experience and inviting the viewer to reflect on vulnerability and protection.
