BA (hons) Fashion Design 2nd Year Student at the University of Portsmouth.
Skilled in Textiles Design (repeat prints), Fashion Design, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Screen Printing, Clo3D Fashion Design Software, Pattern Cutting, Sewing, Fashion Illustration, Draping.
Special interest in colour and texture and how fashion and textiles can be designed to act as a soothing tool. Also with a focus on sustainability, using sustainable materials and designing to minimise waste, for example, using the subtraction cutting technique.
Volunteering for local charities such as the Final Straw Foundation has allowed me to develop my technical sewing as well has using all headstock materials that would have otherwise gone to landfill. I have also helped at the Portsmouth Guildhall with a cushion-making workshop for young people.
