One of my most ambitious project till now due to the amount of techniques i needed to learn to completed it. Patterning complicated patterns, working with thermoplastics such as EVA foam and foam clay, casting resin, sewing and wig making. The whole manifacture of the costume has been a learning journey and i can't wait until i apply all my newfound knowledge to my next big project.

What inspired this collection is my interest in the medieval times and the fashion of this period. I used the influences of 12th century till the first half of the 14th century and the torture machines that were used at this time period. Taking the symbolism of the machines and the clothing patterns of that era led me to create this collection.

This costume has been commissioned to me by a student from the Westminster university who was preparing his own film,I was also lucky enough to also being backstage and work really close with the director and the actors. All the knight suit has been made with EVA foam and real rivets for practicality.

With this collection i came out of my comfort zone, design wise but also inspiration and colour wise, I wanted to try to design a street style collection and use as inspiration the myth of Hades and Persephone which is said to originate from my hometown in Greece and how the youth of Athens use street fashion. I wanted to create something different than the image that foreign designers present when are inspired from ancient Greece.

Encased, reflection, transparency

As a first year collection i wanted to do something that feels close to me. Dramatic shapes and dark colours with Gothic and historical influences. Using as reference the Lincoln Cathedral and the habits of nuns i created this collection.

Brand analysis of Sqwear couture and design challenge for new collection.

Small prop project testing out new techniques and patterns for a plague doctor mask.

In our university class of fashion and performance we had to collaborate and produce a short film for the timber festival that has an Eco friendly message. We decided to focus on the chemicals that are used by the fashion industry and show the audience a world fully destroyed were even the water that is used for showering has become infected with dyes. The dress also represents that symbolism with the grey base and the colourful vibrant yarn on top of it.
