About
I am a jewellery and product designer with a classical goldsmith background. My passion are resolvable connections for a sustainable, repairable and personalisable design.
Material fatigue and wear out are part of our everyday life. Additionally, we have developed to a throwaway society by fast-moving trends, cheap industrial production and apparently seamless products over the last 100 years. Connections have become smaller, more hidden, and more intractable. Reconnect me focuses on the connection and uses its form and function as a design determinant. Rotatability as a playful and functional element encourages a preoccupation with the connection, which finds application in jewelry and vessels. A individual coloring rounds off the focus on the connection. Repairable, easy to use and personalisable to create sustainable products.
