About

I have recently graduated with a 1st Class BA Honours Architecture degree at Norwich University of the Arts.

During my final year at university, I have researched sustainable coastal architecture, developing a strong awareness of its main strategies and issues. My final year project was located at the Eastern bookmark of Hastings Coastline, which is under threat of being lost to erosion due to rising sea levels and climate change.

My University Degree work has been published in Dezeen (link attached below).

I have recently been Awarded the Architects Journal Student Prize 2023 Nomination for Norwich University of the Arts, which includes my work to be published in the Architects Journal.

The Architects Journal Student Prize winner is yet to be confirmed.

INTERSTITIALAR, SEA CLIFF CLIMBING AND ROCK FACE RETENTION TRAINING CENTRE

The project is located at the Eastern bookmark of Hastings Coastline, which is under threat of being lost to erosion due to rising sea levels and climate change. The project looks at how we can we inhabit the territory and use its resources without causing further damage, proposing an architectural language of representation that inhabits through dynamic landscape management and retention systems. Furthermore, the project looks to become an archetype that can be rescaled and relocated to other coastal territories facing similar issues. Aiming to work with erosion rather than fight it, it helps to reclaim the coastal territory through architecture as it shifts to new ground.
