Hello, my name is Frankie, I am a recent graduate of design for film and television at Nottingham Trent, during the 3 years I was there I was able to grow as a designer and explore the various specialisms in the film and television industries.
I have a huge passion for 3D modelling and 3D printing and continue to explore these specialisms outside of university with wargaming and model fabrication.

for my final project of final year, I decided to end it with a genre i am very passionate about, Science fiction. I decided to go with adapting Hugh Howey's 'WOOL'. a dystopian future where communities now live in huge silos underground. Since graduating this year, this has been adapted into a hit Apple TV series.

From a selection of three scripts I ha d to pick one, and adapt it for the big screen. I decided to go with 'Of Alchemist and Men' as I wanted to challenge myself to try something new with a different genre I am used to - Fantasy!

For my first self guided project, i decided to rework the famous '1917' film to be told during the Ottoman Period of History. I decided to focus around the desert, utilising its eeriness and mystic nature with its environments and remnants of the past with ruined temples and caves.
