Feathered Frequencies
Feathered Frequencies is my Final Major Project which explores different ways of communication. For example through technology past and present such as using birds in the olden days to pass notes. My collection is rich with bold digital prints, CAD embroidery, hand embellishment and laser etch. My ' Outer Space ' collection is designed for a unisex runway context. I was inspired by a space exhibition at the Science Museum in London. My project explores a mixed media approach focusing on different weights of fabric such as light synthetics to denims and leatherettes. The techniques my collection showcases are screen printing, laser cut and etch, CAD embroidery, embellishment, digital print and beading.
Botanical Bugs explores a unique take on florals, focusing on abstract shapes and mixed media. Showcasing digital print designs, CAD embroidery, laser etch and cut to create a cohesive collection for womenswear.
